The following are each rank's number, name and in-game title followed by a short description and example positions each rank can hold within the guild.
1 - Trial Member - Minion Once accepted, Trial Members (Minions) enter the guild on a temporary two week trial period. During this period, Trial Members will have to demonstrate effectiveness as a team player and respect for other guild members. At the end of the two week period, he or she will be voted on by the officers overseeing the trial member's recruitment process. If the trial member is found to be unfit, he or she will be notified and removed from the guild.
**Until they pass their trial, all Minions will receive secondary consideration for loot behind Chosen and Adept ranked members.**
2 - Member - Adept Trial Members that are voted into the guild gain the rank of Member (Adept). They are considered one of the family and a full Diabolic member. Members are the main face of the guild, and are always expected to represent the guild with integrity and respect (no drama, no trolling). Members can add alt characters and are allowed to freely move about the cabin guild. Members can also vouch for others in order to expedite their recruitment process.
3 - Advanced Member - Chosen Advanced Members (Chosen) are the guilds "hardcore" members. They are members that are dedicated to advancing the guild in content progression as Raiders and server/warzone dominance as PvPers. For raiding, an 87% attendance (2 absences per month) and excellent performance standards are required. Advanced Members are expected to mentor newer members. Members will be reviewed and promoted to Chosen by Officers on a case by case basis.
4 - Officer - Dark Lord As the highest rank in Diabolic, Officers (Dark Lords) make major decisions that guide the overall direction of the guild. Officers will each hold a seat within the Council, which acts as the top administrative body of the guild. They handle most of the background administrative work, including website/voice payments and administration. They represent the guild in an official manner to further guild interests and ensure Diabolic has healthy relations with other guild leaders, their members and the community at large. Officers oversee the promotion and demotion of all ranks within the guild and dictate overall recruiting standards of the guild.
In-Game Alt Ranks Member Alt - Acolyte Officer Alt - Shadow Hand
Listed below are the names and descriptions of all positions currently used in the guild.
Council The Council is the collection of the guilds Officers (Dark Lords) and is the top administrative body of the guild. In-game, the council appoints one of the Officers as the in-game GM, upholds the guilds Rules & Regulations, takes care of any and all disputes, and dictates overall recruiting standards of the guild.
Raid Leader The Raid Leader is the head of all raid groups. They are responsible for the overall organizations of the raids including the group composition on a week by week basis. They are responsible for appointing a leader, attendance tracker, and loot tracker for every raid group each week.
Raider Raiders are members that are dedicated to raiding. They show up to raids 30 minutes before raid start fully repaired, with plenty of stims/adrenals/medpacks, enough repair money for the night, having watched/read the raid’s strats/mechanics and are ready to curb stomp some bosses (or get curb stomped by some bosses) for at least 3 hours. A minimum of a 90% raid night attendance is expected to maintain Chosen status, and they must notify when they won't show up ahead of time for that other 10%.
PvP Leader Similar to the Raid Leader, PvP Leaders are the head of a PvP group or multiple PvP groups. They are responsible for the overall organization of the PvP group, and are responsible for planning and communicating strategies to the PvP group.
PvPer Like raiders, PvPers are members that are dedicated to PVP (come at me bro!). They show up to scheduled competitive PvP with plenty of stims/adrenals/medpacks, a no whine-fest attitude and ready to smash heads. Attendance or communication of absences is expected for every planned PvP night.
Bank Manager The Bank Manager manages the in-game guild bank. They are responsible for setting view/withdraw/deposit privileges for each tab. They are expected to track the guilds income and expenditures to ensure a healthy amount of guild funds to pay for repairs and BiS crafted items during progression.
