Does it make me cynical that I suspect I should NOT click on that link?

Nothing like lemon party, blue waffles or goatse. It is an intersting link but nothing that will keep you awake at night crying for the pain to stop. Yes I will eventually learn not to click the links.

Just a tip..running a 32" 1080p TV is not your best option for a monitor.
My old iMac 20" ran a 1680 X 1050 resolution, which has nearly the same amount of content on the screen.
In other words, computer LCDs are much more precise than any TV.
My current iMac 27" runs 2560 X 1440.
In TV terms, it would be like a 1440p.
I would suggest investing a few hundred dollars and grabbing a 27"-30" computer LCD, you will be much happier.
On a side note, like you, I prefer Plasma TVs.
I have a Panasonic 50" 1080p, and I am thrilled with it.
