re: Sweet Headset

Just wanted to share my experience with these bad boys. I haven't got to game with them too much but the quality is amazing and they work everywhere in my apartment. Movies and music sound great!

re: Sweet Headset

I'll be on with it today. I used it earlier this week and everyone said I sounded good. It's a noise cancelling mic. At first the audio sounded like it had a small echo but all I had to do was go in and setup the EQ and now it sounds great. I really like that it has volume and the buttons on the earpiece. When I"m just listening to music it's perfect to change the tracks. The other thing I really like is what you tilt the mic upwards it will auto mute the mic. Kind of a quick mute if you're gonna cough or if you're fapping to outlaw's voice.

re: Sweet Headset

Those were released a couple of months after I bought mine.
I have the Plantronics .Audio 995

The Plantronics is very comfortable and lightweight.
I believe the audio quality is very good and people have stated the mic sounds excellent as well.

The only drawback would be is that it cannot be charged while in-use.
It last about 6-8 hours (depending on use) during a full charge.
It takes about 2-3 hours to charge them. (4 if drained dead)

It usually hasn't been much of an issue.
After a raid (Warcraft), I would take my headset off and use the built-in mic (iMac) for Fishing, pugged 5-Mans, etc.

Now, for a weekend like this one (or patch day), it can be an issue if I plan on wearing them for 10-12 hours.

All in all, let me know how you like the C930.
I read about a few comfort issues, but I do like that you can plug in a charging cable when needed.

re: Sweet Headset

Look pretty good, I probably need to read up on what logitech is doing these days. I got fed up with logitech's QA a few years ago so I don't buy from them anymore. I switched to Sennheiser headphones after reading a bit online. I had one pair of HD202's that lasted almost 3 years before the soldering wore out, absolutely flabbergasting compared to the 6 months or so a typical pair from logitech lasted ($50 range). I can't speak to sennheisers headsets though, I just use a separate mic.

re: Sweet Headset

Ya i actually got the G930 and its the best headset i have ever gotten. I actually think i got it for 70. It was on sale by a lot. I like to spend an extra amount on my gear to make sure it lasts. I dont think you will find a better headset then the G930 for its preice rang.

re: Sweet Headset

I just got the Logitech ClearChat wireless headset. Nothing fancy but it's nice being wireless with a quick mute button and it sounds clean. They were only 30 at BestBuy so I figured what the heck

re: Sweet Headset

I did "pull the trigger" on the Logitech G700 Mouse.

I bought it for $70 with Free S/H from Newegg.com
It also included copies of Serious Sam: First Encounter & Second Encounter from Steam. (for what those are worth)

The mouse should arrive on Monday (11/21).

I will purchase the Logitech G930 to replace my Plantronics .Audio 995 soon.
